Andrew Querner grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. Currently based in Canmore, Alberta, Andrew's pictures have appeared in Time, Monocle, The Saturday Telegraph Magazine, Report on Business Magazine, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Canadian Business, Profit, ESPN, Eye, Alpinist, Outside, Explore and Photo District News. His commercial clients include Butler, Stern, Shine and Partners, Patagonia Inc., Arc'teryx, Mountain Hardwear, and Red Bull. In 2009 he received an honorary mention from the Magenta Foundation's Flash Forward competition for emerging photographers. In early 2012 his project, The Bread With Honey will be exhibited at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
